Event Overview. The Cotswold Cross is back to it's normal month of March with some new route variations for 2023! 75km, 55km or 35km on and off-road routes utilising quiet roads, green lanes and bridleways around the valleys and villages of the Cotswold hills south of Cheltenham. The route is suitable for experienced riders of 14 years and over.. Tour Grading. Difficulty grade 1 - 2. (Grade 1 - Easy - Mainly on the flat with gentle slopes. Distances of between 15-25 miles/25-40 kms per day. Grade 2 - Gentle - For the cyclist who is basically fit and who cycles regularly. Will include some steeper climbs. Distances of between 20-40 miles/35-65 kms per day.
